The Calendar of Events along the Loup Rivers Scenic Byway is extensive and varied. There is something for every one al year round.
February
The Kolache Shootout in Elba. Come give your opinion of who makes the best Kolaches.
March/April
Early spring brings the Sandhill Cranes to the rivers and fields around Wood River as they rest and gather strength for their northward migration. Crane Meadows Nature Center has blinds available by reservation to get the best views.
May
Ord's ExtraORDinary Days
Memorial Weekend Bull Riding and Street Dance in Wolbach.
June
Dannebrog's Grundlovsfest and Loup City's Polish Days on the first weekend in June.
St. Paul City Wide Garage Sale. Shop 50 sales in one day.
Wolbach Days on the last full weekend in June.
July
Ashton Days and St. Paul's Grover Cleveland Alexander Days, a large car show and three days of fun..
Nebraska's Big Rodeo in Burwell the last weekend in July. Four days of fun and professional rodeo action.

Popcorn Days in North Loup.
September
Arcadia's Fall Festival on Labor Day weekend.
Ashton’s Polish Festival celebrates their Polish Heritage on the first Sunday after Labor Day.
Brewster's Fall Festival is later in September.
Nebraska’s Junk Jaunt, the last weekend in September, is a 220 mile long garage sale along the Loup Rivers Scenic Byway and the Sandhills Journey Scenic Byway, Nebraska Highway 2.
